First Aid

"The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. In the event of injury or sudden illness, failure to provide first aid could result in a casualty’s death. The employer should ensure that an employee who is injured or taken ill at work receives immediate attention.

HSE will prosecute in cases where there is a significant risk, a disregard for established standards or persistent poor compliance with the law." - HSE Executive

At Renown we believe the first stage in minimising workplace risks is proper training, sometimes accidents WILL happen no matter how many methods are put into place to prevent them. You can't always stop accidents from happening, but you can help limit the effects. The more people within a company that have first aid knowledge, the quicker a casualty can be given the urgent care they may need.

The first aid course will be delivered by our highly skilled trainers using a variety of presentation methods and hands on activities The First Aid Course is presented in conjunction with St. Johns Ambulance Service
